Was in route to Kerry to meet some friends and found the ferry not running due to weather. Turned out to be a stroke of good luck due to the wonderful evening at Crotty's. Good value room, great food, and wonderful company in the pub. Service was far beyond what I expected. A good pluck! more

We stayed at this B&B for one night during a trip around Ireland and found it to be a terrific B&B. The pub downstairs was warm and comfortable - we had a great time drinking Guinness with the locals. And the pub noise did not filter up to the rooms upstairs - which made it even better. The hosts were... more

Lovely place, very comfortable. The food is excellent, and plenty of it. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. The pub is very homely, and has a great atmosphere My only complaint was that we had to leave too soon. more

We arrived the Crotty's pub for a dinner after a long drive. The staff / the waiters were very helpfull and have a very positive atitude. Even though that there were mistakes (twice) with my wife's vegeterian order, we don't have any thing bad to say, because the staff were so gentel. At last they refused to charge us.......even though... more

Crotty's B&B was our first stop on our trip. I loved the place. Kevin the owner, could not have been a nicer or more hard working and congenial host for both the B&B, and in the vintage pub on the ground floor. Our room, facing the town square was quiet since the locals left the pub surprisingly early and quietly.... more

We stayed 4 nights at Crottys and enjoyed our visit apart from the fact that the cleaning of the bedroom left a lot to be desired. They only threw the bedclothes up each day and did not do any cleaning at all, did not clean the bathroom, refill the toilet roll holder (we pinched toilet rolls from empty rooms) didn,t... more

My room was on the third floor and it was bright because of the street lights. That wasn't a bad thing, because there were no lights in the bathroom or the ceiling of the bedroom. The next morning a gentleman asked if I had lights, so evidently I was not the only lightless one. I did receive an apology from... more

Lovely little pub with some B&B rooms upstairs. If you're after some genuine Irish ambiance then this is a good spot as they do traditional music sessions a few nights a week, although I wasn't there long enough to enjoy it. Lovely breakfast served to order, and very good value with a nice bedroom, simple antique furniture and nice linens.... more

Crotty's was in a great position and was a lovely B&B. The staff were friendly, as were most of the staff we encountered in Irish B&Bs. We stayed in Room 8 which is at the top of the 3 storey building. There was a street lamp right outside our window which was a bit annoying - thicker curtains wouldn't have... more

Sorry its late but had a busy year! Stayed here for 2 nights in September for my husband's 40th. If you want the stereotypical 'irish' pub, this is the one for you. Lovely little town. However, very quiet on an evening (we stayed over the weekend and it was still quiet). The problem is is that the locals cannot afford... more
