Have just returned from a Mon-Fri stay at Midgham Farm and honestly can't fault any part of our stay. Sammy was delightful and extremely helpful. She always seemed to be on hand (whilst also running the farm). The location was lovely in the woods. We had hot weather, so the woods provided welcome shade (and a few degrees cooler). I... More

We've just returned from a great weekend at Midgham Farm. It was our first Featherdown Farm experience and we had a fabulous time. The facilities were great, there was plenty to do and the sun shone! The children thoroughly enjoyed collecting eggs, feeding the lambs and brushing the horses and they disappeared into the woods for hours at a time... More

We had a lovely time at Midgham. Our second Featherdown trip and daughter (12) voted it 10/10. Sammy couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. My daughter had a super time playing with the other children in the woods and in the streams. Once you have unpacked your car you leave it at the farm so the woods remain enjoyably... More

Our third Featherdown Farm break and definately the best yet. Great location, lovely hosts - couldn't have done more for us. Children enjoyed bottle feeding lambs, collecting fresh eggs from the chickens, pony grooming, the fabulous farm tour (where my husband lost his sunglasses after they got pinged off by a low lying branch - but helpfully everyone stopped to... We had an amazing week at Midgham Farm with our 4 yrs old. We stayed in Holly and loved the whole experience of camping in the tent. Sammy and her family were really good at showing us around and our son loved riding in her pick-up truck. The farm shop has the best porkchops and the wide selection is v... More

Our stay at Midgham Farm, Fordingbridge could not have been better! The site was incredible, the tents hidden picturesquely in the woods with a great deal of privacy and a warm welcome to the farm from Sammy, who was always there to help us out, but never intruded. The tents were very spotlessly clean and comfortable and having a bed,... More

With the tents nestled down the slope into the woods this site gives you a real wilderness experience. Having been a camper all my life the featherdown experience really appealed, don't be fooled it's gorgeous and romantic but you will be lugging wheel barrows up and down big hills to collect fire wood, wishing you'd bought led candles for the... Dear Littlevikx I hope you don't mind me contacting you directly. My name is Mark Gordon and I run Feather Down in the UK. Sammy Sykes asked that I contact you on her behalf regarding your review. She asked that I just clarify the phrase "maybe she'd just had a bad week". She didn't want to talk about it but... More

Being the first visit to a Feather Down Farm I didnt know what to expect, I was hoping it wasnt going to be pretentious 'glamping' but I can honesty say it was perfect. What you see on the website and what is in the brochure is exactly what you get. The tent was set in a pretty woodland area and... More

Not being campers, we were persuaded to join relatives for our first taste of Glamping, and I can say from the moment we arrived, we were not disapointed. The tents are situated in a beautiful woodland, which for the time we stayed there, were continually covered in dappled sunshine. They were more spacious than expected and looked exactly like the... I had a very pleasant stay at Featherdown Farm, Midgham for two days with a bunch of friends and colleagues from work. The tents are really fantastic – proper canvas camping feel but with space, practical touches and a lovely rustic feel (with good beds and funky toilets !!). The woodland in which they are situated is beautiful – very... More
