The hotel is located in a quiet area with nice mountain views. To get to the main square of Salemi from the hotel, I would recommend driving as it would take around 15 - 20 minutes to walk up and downhill. Great hotel. I organised a business seminar in the hotel mokarta for clients interested in the 1 Euro properties in Salemi. All my clients were happy. The conference room downstairs with projector and buffet, followed by a meal in the restaurant, proved succesful. They amazingly also had wireless internet. Outstanding hotel with one of the nicest owners we've ever come across. Sal helped us finding our family roots and spent countless hors helping and translating. Beautiful new hotel in a gorgeous hill town close to Segusta. Can't wait to go back!

We spent 2 nights at this new hotel (opened Summer 2007). The room and the bathroom were beautiful; there was a small balcony with a view over the west central Sicilian countryside that was breathtaking!
