Our family and I stayed at FS Chinzan-so for two nights on the last leg of an Asian tour before flying home . I had read about this hotel being far from the touristic sights of Tokyo and the downtown vibe, and I thought it would be a good way to wind down before going home. I was correct, luckily.... more

In early April we had the pleasure of 3 nights in this fabulous hotel. It was amazing from the moment we walked in the front doors. The hotel and all of its facilities and services were unfailingly fabulous. For example, the attendant who met us as we got out of the taxi whisked our bags away from us, asked our... more

This is an excellent hotel. It is a lot more expensive then I usually pay for business trips, but this was a conference (who actually negotiated a very good deal on list price, so I merely whinced instead of fainting). As such, in many respects things are as smooth as you might expect from a top hotel in Asia: efficient... more

I stayed in this hotel in the month of October this year for 5 days along with 2 of my colleagues. Although it was a business trip and had a busy schedule but the hospitality of Hotel staff has made the life easier and convinient. The View from our hotel Room was spectacular specially in night time. The food is... more

I've stayed here every year for 6-7 years now. Let's get the negatives done with. It's a little out of the way so you'll spend money on taxis or get to know the Tokyo transport system. The building is architecturally dull. The style is classic Four Seasons wannabe- Eurotrash decor, a bit overstuffed and pastel (I'm not a fan of... more

If you enjoy Tokyo and its hustle and bustle style of shopping and amazing culinary adventure, but at same time, still wishes for peaceful and restful night sleeps in spacious room and bed, then this is the hotel for you. Service is IMPECCABLE and the property is, for lack of better awesome word, BEAUTIFUL. Certainly very popular with the locals... more

I chose the Four Seasons at Chinzan So for a 2 day business retreat for a Board. I wanted somewhere peaceful, with efficient service and "air to breathe" (i.e. meeting rooms with a view, spacious bedrooms, relaxing things to do after the meeting). I also wanted it to be close enough to Tokyo to allow the group - who were... more

I’ve spend three nights in this hotel, organized a business event as well. My overall opinion is that this place should be rated as excellent. It is not so conveniently positioned in terms of major shopping or business areas, but the subway is 10 minutes walk and after that nothing is a problem (taxis in Tokyo are actually not that... more

Stayed at the FS Chinzan-so for three nights on business. The location is not as convenient as some of the other big luxury properties in Tokyo (i.e. the Mandarin Oriental) but what you give up in ease-of-access is offset by the lovely gardens on-site. This time of year (June) you can even watch the fireflys that congregate around the stream... more

You don't stay at this hotel for glitz. Or for location. Or for over the top insane Japanese style. You stay here because you want somewhere quiet in the insanity that is Tokyo. The service at the Four Seasons is exceptional (would you expect anything else?) and the rooms are huge which is a luxury in a city where many... more
