Just across the street from Tokyo station this is a perfect place if one has an early Shinkansen the next day. Also good value for such a location. Shopping and eating is plenty at Tokyo station. more

We stayed just the one night as we were catching a bullet train early in the morning from Tokyo station. The hotel is 30 seconds walk from the station and only 10 / 15 mins to the palace and lots of other sites. Loads of food options close by also. Very clean, comfy beds but very small rooms. We stayed in this hotel for three nights in January. The positives: 1. So handy to Tokyo train station, literally walk out of the train station, cross the road walk up one of the side streets and you are there. Very handy after lots of travelling and so easy to find. 2. We needed an easy place to stay after arriving in the evening from Australia.. and a quick getaway point to the snow early in the morning. This is certainly it. I stayed at the Yaesu Terminal with my son recently, having booked through the hotel's website. I was very pleased with it. Location is good for those arriving at Tokyo train station - directions on the web site are fine if you follow them. Found the hotel thru Loney Planet Guide (good guide by the way). Wanted a central location to see the city, that was near a station that servered the express train to Narita and the Bullet train and both happened to go into Tokyo Station.
