My husband and I had three nights in Tokyo after spending a month in the USA & Canada. After a long flight from Canada and 2 1/2 hours getting from the airport in Tokyo to the Shiba Park Hotel I was worried as to how the hotel would be. My first impressions were - I don't like the location as... more

We stayed in this hotel for three nights in September. We booked for a twin room, but they kindly upgraded us to two single rooms, so that we can get into our rooms earlier than the check in time. It was a very welcome gesture as we were completely consumed after a long houl flight, and if we were forced... more

We have stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. We got twin room in annexe building. The rooms are clean and spacious and new. There are free internet access in the room if you could bring your laptop, otherwise you can use it in lobby and you should pay. The location is great, close to hamamasucho station and daimon subway... more

Stayed here August 2009. A bit on the pricey side all things considered. Hotel is in a good location. From here we actually walked over the Rainbow Bridge. Rooms decent size, shower fit our needs, beds/pillows were okay (better pillows would have been nice). No cable TV, although we didn't watch TV much. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Japan... more

We were a family of 5 and stayed in two rooms - a double and a triple. The hotel has a great location - near subway, interesting temples and the Tokyo Tower. The rooms were clean and comfy (and only small by American standards). The staff were really nice. We had an issue with the triple and the manager moved... more

After offhand service in Australia it was a pleasure to arrive here and be welcomed at reception. It was also good to have a lift! Service was very good. Our room was in the annex and was not great for 3 people, would have been spacious without the 3rd bed. It had a wardrobe, fridge, large desk with stationery, coffee... more

For American standards, I would agree that this hotel is basic and somewhat outdated, with small rooms. However, for Japan standards, this is spacious and inexpensive (especially when traveling on corporate rates). The hotel has outstanding service, people taking umbrellas out of your hand so you don't have to walk to the umbrella rack, a concierge who speaks good English... more

This hotel is in a great location: the Daimon station is in a commercial district that has plenty of restaurants, excellent train access, and a nice energy that is not too overwhelming. The hotel itself is a little aged; my first impression was that the decor looked like something from the Apollo XI era, though that may not be all... more

I just returned from a week stay at Shiba Park Hotel - couldn't have asked for a better hotel! The location of Shiba Park is fantastic - just off a main road packed with restaurants and bars, a number of 7/11-type stores, the JR Yamanote Line (which links to all the major tourist stations) and the Daimon subway. It's also... more

We arrived at the hotel in the morning and were greeted by friendly staff who were very helpful and puntual. Our room was in the newer building (annex) and we were on the 11th floor. Our room was really clean with a tv (includes english channels), a mini bar and aircon. The beds were average (a little hard) but acceptable.... more
