I stayed for one night.......that looked too long....in room #624. The entry was smelly and the rooms were crammed. There was hardly a place to move. The toilets were stifling and not very clean. There was no room service, even for basic needs like drinking water. For the charges, it was an horrible experience....

The hotel very close to Shinagawa Railway station - in walkable distance. Not recommended for couples - but good for singles. I stayed in this hotel only for one night - en route to Mito - for a small discussion. This hotel is located in Shinagawa area which is on the JR line. Its about a 5 minute downhill walk to the station and a 10 minute walk uphill on the way back!!. The JR line had all the stops which we wished to visit. A train ticket for the JR line only costs around £7 a day. The hotel... More

I stayed in The Takanawa Hotel for 2 nights and it was fabulous. It was in an excellent location, a short (slightly uphill) walk from Shinagawa station.
