I spend long periods of time in Tokyo and this is the best place for me. Very easy to get to from Haneda, close to subway and metro lines, supermarket downstairs and extremely helpful staff who speak excellent english. I see the same people staying here time after time. There are not a lot of places to eat in the... More

I wholeheartedly recommend the Somerset Azabu East . It is a centrally located apartment-style hotel that caters to foreign business people and those who wish to have the comforts of home rather than an overpriced small hotel room. Our one bedroom suite was not huge but spacious enough to accomodate us three comfortably (with extra bed). I especially loved the... More

We opted for a serviced apartment in Tokyo and ended up in this hotel. Very nice and clean. The hotel is child friendly. Very nice gym and indoor pool. The price is a steal as compared to other hotels in Tokyo. We all know how expensive hotels are in Tokyo and how tiny they usually are. Housekeeping is top notch.... More

I am SO glad that we chose this place for my ten-day stay in Tokyo. In addition to the in-room washer/dryer, the rooms feature small kitchens with dishes, pots/pans, utensils, and even a French press coffeemaker. The space is also well-configured for working (nice desk area with drawers). The only tiny drawback is the breakfast, which is pretty meager (only... More

Having stayed previously in Somerset Roppongi, I must say that SAE is a much better upgrade in terms of new quality furnishings, charming location, beautiful view of lush greenery and the Tokyo Tower (very magical at night with the Tower all lit up) and there's a washing machine in your room instead of having to go to the basement. Nice... More

The best thing about our stay was the size of the apartment, there is just so much space and it has everything you need. The location is fantastic, the train station is less than a 5 min walk away. There is a mini-supermarket next store so you can stock up if you want to cook in your apartment instead of... More

Stayed in the apartement with my wife and our two daughters for two and a half weeks. Great location by the Tokyo Tower. Spacious and good apartment with all amenities; laundry machine and dish washer. We really enjoyed the basement swimming pool. My 6 years old daughter learned to swim in it! I guess that the rooftop terrace will be... More

We came to Japan for 8 days and decided to try both fancy hotels (Grand Prince Akasaka), Ryokans, and apartohotels. Of all the types, my family enjoyed the Somerset Azabu East the best. I think the prior reviews are accurate. The apartment is larger, more spacious--we happened to have a view of both the Tokyo Tower and a famous Tofu... More

We stayed here for a two months. The staff is so warm and friendly... they even helped me with my Japanese homework! The rooms are clean and nicely appointed for long-stay guests. But, beware the rooms are small. We had a wonderful view of Tokyo tower! The only downside is the location. It's not really near any restaurants, cafes etc.... More
