Stayed here for 4 nights and got exactly what I expected. No frills, downtown vibe and 360 degrees of pleasant culture shock. Its an easy and safe walk to here from the main JR Shinjuku station so any major train or Airport Limousine Bus from the airport will be your best bet for transportation. Small room, but functional and very clean. Very cheap for Tokyo. Although the hotel is in the middle of party town, I could not hear any street noise from my room. Very close to the subway. this was an excellent hotel at a very affordable price for tokyo. Smack Bang in the middle of things, it was a little noisy at times, but that didn't bother us one bit.
