Found the reviews on tripadvisor interesting. I stayed there for the month of May, I just left today. Last time I stayed in one of the JR Hotels (Mets Akabane), which was ok and a little on the small side for a 6'3" 250lbs American. The room at Citadines was 25m^2, respectable for American standards even. Over the weekends and... More

We stayed here at the beginning (4 nights) and end (1 night) of our trip. Originally we planned on staying in 3 different hotels while in Tokyo because we wanted to check out different neighborhoods. However, we found that Citadines was considerably better than the 2nd hotel we stayed at in Tokyo, so we cancelled the 3rd hotel we had... More

Right choice for us, very spacious good that you can enjoy food you shopped at Isetan or shopping malls in Tokyo. The hotel provided the living room with table and even the working desk. I think it is much better for after the long walking day; you need to just have a seat with some dessert before you jump up... More

We found this hotel perfect for our 2 night stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet and well located to nearby subway stations and lawsons & 7/11 stores. Also nearby noddle bars which were good value.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights on our first trip to Japan and was very impressed with the whole experience. The studio rooms have everything that you could want and probably more (even a kimono) and are big enough for what you need when I hope you're not spending days on end in your room. The beds... More

I loved this hotel. It felt like coming home after a long day of sightseeing in a foreign city where nothing was familiar. Clean room, yummy filling and healthy breakfasts, wifi, convenient location, etc.

My husband and I were very pleased with the hotel. The size was great for Tokyo standards and it was extremely clean! I'll probably repeat what everyone else has said already but it's all true! 7-Eleven was convenient as well as all the other convenient stores and restaurants nearby. The nearest subway station was only a 5 min walk away.... More

We stayed at the Citadines for 4 days/3 nights in May 2012. Now I wish I had taken pictures to post because the room and bathroom were so clean. My husband and I slept in the bed with our 3 yr old and my 15 yr old niece slept on the sofa bed. It was just enough space for the... More

As we were travelling in a group of 8 we needed 3 rooms as most hotels in Tokyo can only accomodate 3 per room. We prearranged to keep the rooms together which the hotel obliged. The hotel is located some distance from the subway and as such with luggage it was difficult to manager but when going out on day... More

We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Everything was perfect, the apartment v comfortable and homely with kitchen. The staff could not have been more helpful with directions and anything we needed to make sure our stay was good. Location wise it's a 5 min into shinjinku with a 24 hour called yosinoya up the road! Will be sure... More
