Located a short walk from the North exit to Tokyo's busiest train station, the Shinjuku Prince hotel is conveniently placed. Even pulling a suitcase as I was, you can easily find it. It is also conveniently located to all the major train and subway lines, making it an excellent choice for access to the entire Tokyo area. English was spoken... more

I had picked up thishotel because it is located just five minutes walk from Shinjuku metro station on Yamanote line. My rooms was standard size for Tokyo, hence not huge but well appointed, clean and offered a nice view over the city below. Staff was efficient. I loved Shinjuku atmosphere and Kabuki cho and the fact that using the Yamanote... more

It's a good place to stay if you want value and a little-over standard hotel. No complaints about the room quality and features, except its comical size, especially for two people--but that's apart of Tokyo. We we're always out sightseeing anyway. more

Yes, the rooms are cozy. As a big guy by myself with a laptop bag and a good sized piece of check in luggage I had adequate room (it's not like I stayed in my room a lot). If I'd been with someone else I would have wanted a larger room. Internet was $5/day, but it was by ethernet and... more

When I first travelled to Tokyo more than 20 years ago with my family, we stayed at the Prince Shinjuku. All I remembered was the teeny weeny rooms and the teeny weeny bathrooms. Now for my 4th time back in this ultra-hyper metropolis, my friend and I decided to book 6 nights with this establishment -- mostly due to the... more

We recently stayed for 4 nights at the Shinjuku Prince Hotel and were very impressed. Being our first trip to Japan, we were not expecting 'spacious' rooms however whilst small, the rooms were renovated and clean - and modern. The Prince is pretty much smack bang in the middle of (East and West) Shinjuku whilst only about 300m from the... more

stayed in this recently refurbished hotel and loved it. its location is super, with walking distance to shinjuku station. from there you can get both the yamanote line and a bunch of metro lines. if breakfast isn't included in your price I'd recommend to eat out. there's a lot of places nearby, including some none asian, that are more reasonably... more

Spent 3 nights here on my way back from Honolulu to Hong Kong. I've been to Tokyo more than 10 times and I LOVE this city. Stayed in various different hotels with similar classes on my previous visits and I'll have to say this is by far the worst hotel experience for me. I booked a room confirmed with 2... more

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. Although the area was very busy 24 hours a day, our 23/F room gave us a quiet atmosphere in this huff and buzz area. In the morning, we could even see the sunrise while we are in bed. The views from our room is really nice with a far view of Tokyo.... more

My friend and I stayed at the Shinjuku Prince for 6 Nights at the end of Dec 2008 during peak season . Overall, the stay was great and the both of us will definitely return. Ultimately, the location is fabulous which tops the experience. The room rate I paid was pretty high for what we got, which did not make... more
