There's a curfew at night and you can only shower during the specified times, but overall it's a decent stay. If you get back past the curfew, you can still get in, but will have to call and wait for the person to come get you. Bed's a bit hard but relatively comfy. The room we had had 2 bunk... More

Very good hostel, with very helpful staff members who speak a brilliant level of English. As there were three of us we had a dorm room to ourselves, which was great. The views of the sunset at night were gorgous. Beds were comfortable. There is a curfew, but that was out of their hands as it is a government building. This... More

I have stayed this youth hostel many times. Most of the time, I was placed 4 bed dormitory room and spent nice time sharing room with nice people.(did not nessesarily talk each other through )I slept large room with more than 8 people(as long as I remember) only once, but don't worry this is also a comfortable room. The dorm beds were solid & clean,we liked the secured door lock & locker provided is convenient & big enough for trolley bags. There are metro station(Lidabashi) and at least 3major subway lines on level B1. Food & basic amenities can be bought at the complex on ground floor. The reception spoke excellent English & the hostel provides a lot... More

Good location near station, also very helpful staff that could speak very good English. We paid a little extra for a Japanese style Family room that had Futons and a fantastic view. The food was OK,never had lettuce for breakfast before. Great range of guests, football teams, netball teams and several families.Communal baths ,toilets and showers all clean.Highly recommended for a family. Also local area... More

The worst part of my time Tokyo. This hostel was very disappointing. I wish I had stayed somewhere else during my 3 nights in Tokyo. I dreaded coming back to this hostel in the evening. I didn't care about the curfew, as a young woman travelling alone-it was the horribly uncomfortable beds, check out at 10, lights that literally go... More

I stayed at Tokyo International Youth Hostel a few years ago when I first visited Tokyo. I stayed there for six nights. They didn't let me stay longer than that, so I had to move to other place the last 3 nights of my trip. For the price I paid and the beautiful city view I got from the room,... More

This was a great place to stay. I stayed with a large group and everything was clean and nice. The main point of my trip was to sightsee so as long as I had a safe and comfortable place to sleep I was happy! More

Located conveniently near shinjuku. Modern, clean, friendly, good facilities. Also Amazing views of the tokyo skyline because you are so many floors up. the early curfew keeps out the party boys and the riff-raff. Ideal place for families with children. More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Was teacher leading a group of 32 students, parents and friends. Including my own 2 young children. I have stayed here before and love the location so happily returned. It is a youth hostel so expect curfews. They are imposed by the building not the hostel. Curfews didn't worry us. Great location. It's on 18th... More
