This hotel is great if you are an American who is homesick and wants a place where the staff treat you as though you're in New York. The staff seem to have all the "Japanese-ness" washed totally out of them, it was actually a bit sad. None of the normal friendly smiles, nods, bows, or running over to help that... more

I stayed at the Park Hyatt for three nights at the end of my Tokyo vacation. The specifics: Check-in: Probably the most impressive introduction to a hotel that I have stayed at. This is a very personal experience with an escort to the desk on the 41st floor while your luggage arrives in your room separately. Accommodations: My sister and... more

I love the film Lost in Traslations and talked my wife into spending our last 3 nights in Tokyo at this hotel. The location is ok but not outstanding. The shuttle bus takes you in and out of Shinjuku but dpods you of at an awkward spot if you do get on it. Even the staff admited your just as... more

Outstanding. Fab views, utlra modern, spacious room, fantastic service. Came here for my honeymoon, such a wonderful welcome on arrival. A beautiful indoor pool, a great place to unwind after a long flight. Great room service. Had a drink in the New York bar - great (cover charge in the evening); The Peak Lounge offers superb value for money with... more

My partner and I just returned from a fantastic four-night stay at this wonderful property. From the moment we arrived at Narita and met our driver, our stay at the Park Hyatt Hotel exceeded our every expectation. We had reserved the Park 360 package that included airport transfers, breakfast (including room service), complimentary access to the health club, as well... more

The hotel, made famous by the move lost in translation lives up to every expectation. I must admit I went there expecting a lot, and usually in such circumstances there is always something that causes disappointment. Not at the Park Hyatt Tokyo, The service is so perfect. I arrived by the Narita bus service and got off at the ground... more

Absolutely sublime hotel in an enviable location for first-time visitors to Japan. The airport limousine bus drops off right outside the Park Hyatt, and hotel staff await new arrivals at the door to greet you and escort you through the lobby of the main building and into the lifts. The hotel reception is way up in the 30-40th floors somewhere,... more

To be honest after all the good reviews we read... we were very disapointed.... very nice view.... but the staff bordered on being completly rude....though they all did speak at least basic english which does make it easier... but you can get that at pretty much any decent hotel there... . The food was average... and for AU$300 for a... more

Just returned from a vacation in Tokyo where we split time between the Park Hyatt and the Hilton right up the street. I cannot begin to describe the pure luxury of this place - it far exceeded our expectations from the moment we checked in until the time we (sadly), flew home. We arrived early in the morning and every... more

Good location. Magnificent views. Doting staff. Lots of room. Huge bathrooms. Good in-room coffee. If you are not happy here, stay home. The GIANT Shinjuku subway station is a 10 or so minute walk which gets you all over Tokyo but if you think its too far the hotel has a shuttle to it every 30 or so minutes. Enjoy... more
