It's a great hotel to stay for 8 nights with two teenage boys. It's clean, cozy and more importanly with hotel staffs that are friendly, pleasant and helpful. The hotel is about 6 mins walk to the train staton. Though the rooms are a little too small but we really enjoyed our stay. more

I thought I'd give this place a try in my travels all over Japan, and was sadly disappointed. It was nothing like a typical Japanese hotel, and was full of back packers, and foreign tourists, so not exactly the Japanese experience. The rooms were tiny, (I got single private room). They were grubby with dirt marks on the walls and... more

Stayed in Sakura Ikebukuro for about a week end-Oct 09. Loved it. Rooms are typically small, but also very clean and reasonably priced. Staff spoke English and were helpful and efficient. Went to Kyoto mid-way through my stay, and they had no issues with me leaving my luggage with them until I arrived. Had a good mix of visitors, so... more

This place is incredibly convenient in that it's right along the JR Station at Ikebukero which is the the second largest hub in the city. There's even an express train that goes to the Airport so that you wouldn't have to change subways or anything. It was clean and comfortable and a nice way too meet other travelers in the... more

I stayed here for a week in total. The staff remembers me after a couple of days. Gave me the same room for two reservations. Rooms are cleaned everyday while you're out. Free high speed internet via LAN line in room. more

Crowded with foreign visitors. Obviously got all the business because of their English website. We 3 were crammed into a tiny 15 square meter room. For the same price, you could get a 22 square room with 2 beds and a sofa bed at another Ikebukuro hotel closer to the station and in the heart of all the action (we... more

I stay in this hotel every time I visit Tokyo as it is such a convenient location and is very reasonably priced. Being on the west side of Tokyo it is close to the best nightlife areas such as Shinjuku and Shibuya and has trains running late into the night. ikebukuro itself is also not a bad place to go... more

We stayed here for 5 nights in total and found it a great place to explore Tokyo from. We had an economy double and found it to be perfectly adequate in size. Two tall people may find it abit cramped but for a night or two its fine. Some of the 'Narita express' trains go straight to Ikebukuro which is... more

This hotel is in the hea(r)t of Ikebukuro. We were in the annex (just across the street), for 3 nights. I had booked a large double room but for the first night we had an economic double room, which in practice was a smaller room with a smaller bed (120cm width instead of 140 cm). So we were happy to... more

it was my first time in Tokyo and i was looking around on the internet for some cheap, clean and convenient location. Everything is expensive in Tokyo, therefore you have to look for a place where it is accessible by the Metro. Fortunately I found this place and what an affordable rate. It cost me only 6000yen and that's like... more
