We travelled to Japan for first time, and we stayed in the typical japanese room (6-tatami size). Still quite small, even the bathroom, it was clean and placed in a very strategic place in Asakusa. The location of this Ryokan is really great. Easy access to Asakusa Subway station and near to some major tourist attractions such as Sensō-ji temple and Ueno park. Stayed in this ryokan for one night due to over booking from the Ryokan next door. Was a little hesitant due to the older outlook of the Ryokan. I was given an ensuite room on the top floor close to the balcony. As in JP, all rooms are small again. And having an ensuite room, makes it just seemed more... More

I stayed in the ryokan for 8 nights in October 2010. The room is, as expected from a ryokan, very small, with a small bathroom. There is a futon, small table, a TV.
