This hotel is older and shows its age a bit, but beside that is generally clean enough. It has a really convenient location 1 minute from Ueno station which is a good place to stay for sightseeing. I have been taking my college students to Hotel Komatsu from Norway every summer. They fall in love with this traditional Japanese-style hotel immediately. Rooms are simple but good and clean enough. Good location. A little old and dingy, but can't beat the price. The staff didn't speak great English, but they did everything possible to help. They are friendly.My room was so-so,this hotel is no bad. And reasonable. more
It's easy to get to Akihabara and Roppongi. A good location from JR Ueno Station and a reasonably price. Free wireless internet is a bonus.The old staff is friendly and warm.Anyway, This small hotel is OK！ more
Reasonably priced, comfortable small hotel in a great location. Easy to get to Akihabara - and anywhere else in the city! The staff is friendly and helpful and my stay was personal and warm. And free wireless is a bonus. more
