We returned today from a stay in Majorca at Son Llorenc Hotel in Alqueira de Blanca.

We arrived quite late to the hotel (about 1am) due to a delay in our flight and as reception was closed we had to ring the doorbell. After a few minutes wait, a lady who I believe to be the owner, arrived looking less than pleased. We both waited for a 'ola' or 'hello' and shockingly she remained silent and ushered us to the desk where she instanly presented us with a bill to sign!

Once she had handed us our key (still in silence) she showed us up to our room. This was spacious, clean and presentable. Rather than show us the facilities of the room which is not essential but a nice gesture, she took off with our passports (again, without a word) and returned them a few minutes later (in silence).

Breakfast was less than impressive. A few slices of bread with cheese and tomato on top or a croissant with jam. Oh and incidently, still not a word from the owner despite seeing us... more
