Have stayed a few times in this hotel with the family whilst travelling. Bit off the beaten track but offers a nice break, good value, and a lovely brasserie for food. Good location also for weekend break, and is right on the lake which offers nicer walks or swim during summer.

We wanted to stay as close as possible to beautiful Wallensee lake. Hotel Schwert is located just opposite mini-port. Town is very quiet and clean. Rooms are VERY space and most of them has view on lake. Cuisine is superb, especially all kinds of beef, which are hotel's speciality. Staff is friendly and caring.

Stayed at the beautifully located hotel on our way back from Austria. The hotel looks out over the huge freshwater lakes, nestling in a natural bowl surrounded by mountains, superb.
