Beautiful historic convent, restored with care and well located in the nice town of Balmaseda. We had some dificulty to find someone at the reception, but once someone there they treated us how they should do. Stayed here for 3 nights and walked in the area. Converted convent, rooms not large but comfortable and well furnished and equipped. Communal areas spacious - restaurant, bar, lounges and outside courtyard. Dinners excellent - simple, but very good quality ingredients.
