Lika an old Hollywood-star: it was surely a very beautiful hotel and you can see traces of this old beauty in the common zones, in the magnificent wooden stairs, in the spaciousness of the rooms and in its position (probably if you get a sea view room you can enjoy it at an upper level, but we weren't that lucky).... the hotel is well located overlooking the bay but make sure you get a sea view room the others overlook and are right on the main road. The main stairway has worn through carpet with chewing gum stains. There is no sign of a manager and the breakfast waiter (one for the whole room) is bored and does not appear to do... Found the hotel by chance when touring Northern Spain by car. Had a lovely room traditionally furnished with a balcony overlooking the sea. Pleasant staff and good food. Most enjoyable stay and would certainly revisit if in the area

The setting was lovely with a great lobby and decor. The rooms are very classy with wood furniture, hardwood floors and nice curtains, bedspreads and decoration (looked like a more expensive hotel than it was). The beds were not as comfortable as they looked, and for a couple we had two smallish double beds pushed together (with one bedhead) but... More

I really liked this hotel, especially as I was given a nice room with a little balcony overlooking the park, despite being on my own. Very large room, too. It's quite hard to spot if you're driving. Nice terrace overlooking the beach and harbour. It gets stars knocked off for advertising a free car park which only has room for... More

Nothing of the old world of Empress Zita is still there. Well perhaps the beach!

I stayed at Aisia Hotel in Lekeitio for a weekend with my boyfriend, we booked extremely last minute and were lucky to get a room. I was a little nervous after reading the last review on Tripadvisor, however I think perhaps either the last reviewer was extremely unlucky or else extremely fussy! We were extremely happy with our stay, the... More

While travelling in northern Spain on holiday,we happened upon this hotel, from the outside and its position it looked really inviting. It was the dearest of ten hotels we stayed at so were expecting something a little special. WRONG Our room was on the third floor, I was a little apprehensive as I have bad arthritis, but there was a... More
