Lovely, very clean rooms in a wonderful, friendly traditional village. We met Mr. Sigalakis at his taverna and then followed him on his motorcycle to the tasteful rooms. We then spent the afternoon in very nearby Malia swimming the lovely clear waters and climbing into the hauntingly beautiful caves (with a deep spiritual feel--were Roman burial chambers and probably used in pre-history; necessary to overlook some carelessly left soda cans and such). Returning for dinner at Sigalakis' Taverna, Mr. Sigalakis sat down with us and treated us to some Raki. A memorable stay! Diane and Paul more
