Beyond negative criticism : warm, friendly people, nice house, nice room, great welcome, fantastic breakfast. Will go again and in the meantime recommend wholeheartedly!

Luxury accommodation, friendly proprietors, great food. Nothing too much trouble here. Tea & scones on arrival, roaring fire in the lounge. Comfortable, clean & cosy rooms. Lovely additional touches. Happy to recommend to anyone.

Luxurious accommodation, super food and a warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and the supper provided before our Macmillan Challenge put us in good stead. The best B&B I have had the pleasure to stay at. We will be making plans to return. We would highly recommend Blackyett Mains.

We stayed for one night's B&B November 2011 and were very well looked after from our initial welcome including scones and tea to our reluctant departure the following morning . We had an extremely comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast was a joy, especially the delicious home made jam with our toast. Thank you!
