Having just turned up at The Pelican Inn, the restaurant was busy however a last minute cancellation meant they had a room spare. It was very comfortable, clean and all amenities present. The place was great!!..........the staff were very helpful, especially the bar manager Brett. The food was to die for and the real ale on the bar was the best i have ever tasted of its kind. The accomadation was just lovely and comfortable. I would recommend anyone to stay here. Loved It!! more

We stayed here for two nights, lovely setting minus the busy road. Fridge was a bit noisy so just turned it off. The bed was not good. We had to put pillows under the mattress to even it out. Wasn't very impressed with the food but lovely feel about the place. more

We stayed at the Pelican for only one night, but have to say the accommodation was clean, tidy and spacious, the bar meals (which were buy one, get one free), were absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient.
