We were greeted by our wonderful hosts with champagne and our room was charming. The home was situated in a delightful town with champagne houses and beautiful walks, close to all other Champagne region attractions. Every morning we enjoyed a scrumptious home cooked breakfast.

I stayed at Les Molyneux in September 2016 and had a wonderful weekend. The hosts are very inviting and love to chat and make you feel welcome. They speak French and English very well and made every effort to make sure our weekend was memorable. The breakfast was hearty and of higher quality than we would have found in any nearby restaurant. I would absolutely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at Les Molyneux for 5 nights in July. We were met by our very friendly and helpful host, Jiles, and shown to our very large room (Blue Room) on the main living level of the B&B. Unfortunately, Yvonne was away on family business during our visit, but Jiles made us very welcome and was happy to chat about all things relating to this fabulous champagne region. Jiles explained the overall history age of the village and the B&B, which made our stay very authentic. We were the only guests at Les Molyneux during our visit, and each morning, Jiles prepared us a lovely breakfast of cereals, fruit, and fresh pastries topped up with tea and coffee - a great way to start each day. A couple of afternoons we arrived back early from our walks touring, and settled on the sunny deck and caught up with some reading and internet access. Jiles was able to recommend places and routes to the neighbouring towns, as well as recommendations on where to eat and of course, sample some champagnes. There is a small local store next door, a bakery only 100 metres away, and Jiles can assist with a restaurant booking (only one in town) if required. Our stay in Verzy at Les Molyneux was all that was expected, and I strongly recommend that you stay here if you plan a few days in the champagne region.…

Yvonne and Jiles are perfect hosts. We felt very relaxed in their company which was convivial, interesting and very knowledgeable about so many different aspects of the champagne region and lifestyle. The area is teeming with champagne houses and is in a lovely location with a beautiful forest nearby for delightful walk. The problem we had when visiting Verzy was the fact it was August. Nothing really prepared us for the fact that the village is closed for the month. Other than the chemist, bakery and one of the little village shops. This is an issue as every village in the vicinity is too closed for August. Fortunately, we ate in Les Molyneux on our first evening and the Yvonne took into consideration my dietary requirement. The meal was tasty, healthy and plentiful. Jiles came to the rescue on another evening and drove us to a restaurant (as the only taxi in the area was already booked), which again shows that they will put themselves out to be hospitable and generous. Breakfasts were again plentiful will lots of delicious baked goods, pots of tea and coffee. Great start to the day. It would be lovely to visit again when everything is open, so we could enjoy what the village had to offer.…

We had the most wunderful time in Verzy. And we have Yvonne and her husband Giles to thank a lot for. They are so hospiteble, and set us up for real champagne tastings, and suggested most of our trip in verzy, and of course the perching bar. We will come back as soon as we can. Thank you Yvonne and Giles for making our stay in champagne so memorible. The Pettersson family.:)

This location of this chambres d’hote is on the heart of some of the region’s best champagne villages especially for blanc de blanc. The spacious room plus bathroom with its ‘luxury ‘ roll top bath made the experience have an extra feeling of staying somewhere special. Added to this was Yvonne’s great hospitality, arranging one tasting in her village of Verzy and dinner at a restaurant within a 30 second walk from our ground floor room. The ‘traditiona’l French breakfast was superb with an extra mention for the custard type pastry on Tuesday morning - was very yummy. So to those of you that go to overpriced city hotels avoid them and please go to Les Molyneux – it’s great for the heart and wallet

Some friends and I recently stayed the night at Les Molyneux while on a walking holiday through the Champagne region. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the rooms were lovely and the dinner Yvonne and Giles provided was delicious - we were still talking about it several nights later! Yvonne and Giles were delightful hosts - friendly, full of interesting stories about the area and their time in France - and it was nice to be able to relax and speak English for a while!

Loved this charming Bed and Breakfast in a quaint champagne town! Our hostess, Yvonne, was so kind and very helpful. She gave us loads of info as to restaurants and things to do. The bed and breakfast was so comfortable - large and well appointed bedroom and modern bath with all the amenities. Loved the common room where we enjoyed our champagne. Breakfast in the dining room was fresh and filling.

We recently spent 2 nights at Les Molyneux with another couple. It is a charming B&B with a very welcoming host, Yvonne. The rooms were spacious and well appointed. We especially appreciated the large common room for guests which was a perfect place to relax and enjoy a glass of champagne in the evening! The little village is surrounded by vineyards. Being fall, the vines were turning beautiful shades of yellows and reds. It couldn't have been prettier! We were just a short distance from Reims and the Champagne Trail. With our car, it was easy to tour the area.

Our experience at Les Molyneux was superb. Yvonne was a perfect host throughout the entire process from initial enquiries, through to booking, arrival, stay and departure. We had booked a very brief trip to this region and had an extremely disappointing visit to one of the small champagne houses (we were expecting to learn something about the region and its histories). On return to the guesthouse, we expressed our disappointment with the attitudes of the staff at the champagne house and Yvonne then gave us a full briefing and guide to the region and its rich histories. While sharing one of her bottles of champagne from her local village with us (which was delicious). She was the perfect host, knowing when to interact and when to leave us to our own discussions. She provided a fantastic meal for us. Her accommodation was lovely and her little dog adorable. There is a warm inviting feeling to this guesthouse from the minute you enter. You feel at home. Highly worth a stay if visiting this region of France.…
