We had two rooms for only one night so did not expect the very best rooms, the one on the first floor with private facilities was OK and the shower room was superb; the one on the ground floor was cold and the en-suite had no heating in it so couldn't use the shower. Hannah and Terry were very welcoming,... More

A very comfortable and friendly Guest House with lovely views over the Dale. It was our second trip to the Arkleside and we would recommend it to anyone who is visiting. We were walking in the area and so Reeth is a lovely place to stay with many beautiful long or short walks from the village.

Surrounded by the dales, this b&b was a perfect place to get away from the crowds of London. Having never stayed or visited Yorkshire before, we weren't quite sure what to expect. However arriving in the lovely village of Reeth, and the guest house, we were given a very warm welcome by Hannah and Terry. Our room was room 2.... More

Very helpful host, great breakfast (with very yellow eggs!). The bathroom had a very noisy extractor, took quite a while for room to warm up (we did arrive earlier than expected).Good views from bedroom.

We had a lovely stay in the Mews Annex at the Arkleside Country Guest House. The annex was very clean, warm and cosy, the beds were comfy and the breakfasts were delicious! The price was extremely reasonable and the owners couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The location was stunning, Reeth is a great base for bracing walks in... More

Occasionally things like this happen and are unfortunately out of our control. The problem has now been fixed and there is no longer... More
