As always, loved staying with Kay & Kerry at Calico Lodge - we just love the place. It's purfect for relaxing, quite, but handy for social life - if thats whats you want. Kay & Kerry really know how to make everyone's stay just so enjoyable and just seems to get better with each return visit. Can't say enough about... More

We started our holiday at Calico and also ended our holiday at Calico. It is a peaceful and wonderfully located B&B just 25 minutes away from downtown Auckland. For the person who wants to be located away from the BIG city but near enough to be able to go there for a wonderful dinner or experience, then Calico is the... More

Kay and Kerry provided perfect hospitality. My wife and I felt as though we were family during our stay. They provided local advice for sightseeing as well as directions to places we wanted to go. We were in town for 5 days for the Rugby World Cup near Auckland and it provided the perfect distance from the downtown craziness as... More

We really enjoyed your time that you spent staying with us at Calico Lodge. It was great to meet your daughter via the Skype. The quilt is very nearly on its way and I do hope that you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed sewing it. More

What a great place to stay: comfortable lodging, quiet environment, excellent breakfast, only 20mn from Auckland Downtown. We are so pleased we met Kay and Kerry. Warm welcome, great hospitality, always available for good tips if needed. We stayed 6 nights during the RWC and we simply felt being at home. THANK YOU from Brittany. Didier and Jo More

French from Brittany were a first for us, and we really found them delightful to have at Calico Lodge. Glad they enjoyed the rugby even if the last game was not exactly what they wished for. More

We had a lovely time at Calico Lodge. The Lodge is well situated within 20mins of the CBD and both rugby stadiums (which is what we wanted!) but still with a rural feel. Kay and Kerry are very accomadating hosts, always with suggestions for local attractions, restaurants and the best roads and routes fro travelling. Breakfast was made to order... More

Our stay at Calico was brilliant! Kay and Kerry along with Zipp and Soxes and the fuzzy sheep were a joy to interact with. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and at home.
