Beautiful house in a gorgeous setting. As soon as you walk up to the front door you know it will be special. We had a wonderful stay, it is a very special hotel and sandsend is the perfect place for a weekend hide away. The rooms were beautiful and the service was excellent. We will definately go back to the Woodlands for another weekend.

Almost reluctant to let the world know about this hotel. Stayed there in August. Perfect place for a few days away. Beautiful location and the rooms are all individually designed. So much thought and detail has gone into this hotel. Well done to the owners and the breakfasts were wonderful too - set us up for the day.

Very warm welcome. We stayed here for my 50th birthday 'get away' and it was quite special. Our room 'Louis' looked out onto a grassy meadow and was breathtakingly charming.
