We spent an idylic week at this hotel.Fabulous views,fab beach,very secluded.Great rep who helped plan our days out.Staff were fantastic,very helpful,and attentive.We stayed in the newer chalet type rooms,one heck of a climb up the hill but well worth the view from our balcony which overlooked the secluded bay.Food was of reasonable standard,we didnt pay 5 star prices to stay... more

Before I booked I checked all the other reviews of the Elly Beach Hotel. I thought on balance I would side with those reviews which were positive. Wasps? Well any English summer day has its wasp presence and perhaps the criticisms of the food articulated half board fatigue rather than any real culinary concerns.
