Spent 2 nights here over weekend 10-12/5/13. Really nice place with friendly staff David & Lizzie. Breakfast food amazing, including eggs direct from their own chickens (which you can also buy to take away). Nice garden with pool (too early in season for us to use). Comfy beds and duvets to die for. The farmhouse is on a busy main... More

Only stayed one night but it was a delight. Lizzie & David were wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was excellent, superbly clean, lovely rooms and a wonderful nights sleep. As for the breakfast - brilliant. Also, we ate at a pub in the evening just 5 minutes away The Kings Head at Redlynch which we could... More

What a relaxing two night stay. The hosts, Lizzie and David, made us feel right at home. David always gave us great ideas for our daily ventures. The accommodation was very comfortable and the rooms were tastefully decorated. A good nights sleep was enjoyed on the very comfy beds. The breakfasts were delicious, a special mention goes to the pastries... More

This is an old school B&B, with wonderful warm hosts (Lizzie and David), toasty, cosy rooms, hearty breakfasts, a fabulous location and one better than an uber concierge, David, who gives you an in the know insight of the area! Better still there are alpacas to feed and chicken eggs to collect if you come along with children! And the... More

Really nice old farmhouse right in between Salisbury and Brockenhurst which is fine if you want to drive everywhere but not ideal if you want to walk to a number of pubs and restaurants. Having said that, David and Lizzie will look after you and gave us a lift to the local when needed. They're really lovely people and their... More

My wife and I stayed for a week recently and our room and our experience with Lizzie and David were the highlight of our trip. Great room, great breakfast and superior help with choosing the best Pub food and planning our daily itinerary. The New Forest is a very interesting area, and side trips to Bath and Salisbury were worthwhile.... More

Just returned from a one night stay. The farmhouse itself sits hard on an A road but don't let that put you off,it's not noisy . As we approached the friendly owner waved us to a parking space. We entered and were led to our room which had a superb quality duvet on it ... Always appreciated! A small ensuite... More

My favourite B & B in the South West, perched on the edge of the New Forest and situated conveniently on the A35 from Southampton to Salisbury. We have always received the warmest of welcomes from the Guild family who put in so much effort to ensure our stay is perfect in every way. The bedrooms are immaculately clean with... More

Stayed here for the first time for three nights in the Garden lodge, simply idylic. The hosts are truly determined to make your stay wonderful & the information given on arrival is so comprehensive as to the surrounding places of interest & beauty spots is invaluable.
