Sepilok Nature Resort is a nice place. The rooms are slightly dated, but clean, large and the air-con is a welcome luxury after a day out in the humidity. We found the staff to be wonderful, and the food was fairly basic but tasty. As a lot of other reviewers have stated, the location is good for seeing the orangutans.... More

This hotel is very well located for the orangatun sanctuary and a reasonable walk to the rainforest discovery centre. The setting is really nice and the rooms are large and well equipped. The food was ok but not great and they didn't have several items listed on the menu. The biggest problem with this place is it didn't have any... More

We stayed here for one night because its conveniently located close to the Orangutan sanctuary, so you can easily go visit at both feeds when they are more active. Rooms are basic but large and clean. Food was good if a little basic. More

In fairness the rooms are lovely. Well our chalet was huge and modern. The food was only so so and our orders were mixed up. There was a lady at front desk who was really unpleasant and mean which was a bit uncalled for on Christmas day. Won't be staying again. More

Sepilok Nature Resort is fabulously located just a couple of minutes walk away from the famous Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, so that you can easily walk there yourself to watch the afternoon feeding time, so avoiding the coach-loads of tourists who descend for the morning feed. Accommodation is in pretty, decently-sized, en suite wooden huts located on the edge of... More

We were very pleased and started to unpack when all of a sudden there was a huge commotion out the back... More

We only stayed one night and wished we had longer. The staff were helpfull and friendly. The rooms were individual chalet types. Very adequate aircon. I love the jungle atmosphere, and there was loads here! The sounds came from all arround. We arrived in the morning, and had just missed a visit from a Orang utan! Apparantly he pops over... More

My family and I enjoyed three nights at Sepilok Nature Resort in September. The resort consists of a very nice reception and restaurant area, surrounded by fairy basic but comfortable air-conditioned huts set in very pretty gardens around a sizeable lake. Rooms 17 to (I think) 23 had decks looking directly onto the jungle reserve. From here we saw one... More

We stayed at Sepilok Nature Resort for 3 nights. This place was way better than I expected. The rooms are very basic but the grounds are so beautiful! We spent hours just walking around photographing all the gorgeous plants, flowers and orchids which were to die for. Like I said the rooms are basic and a little old but really... More
