We spent 5 weeks roadtripping through France, staying mostly in B&B's. This place was definitely our Number 1! Spectacular location, great accommodation with all that you need. Simon and Magali bought a ruin and rebuilt this interesting property back into the cliffs as it once was. Cute little village with yummy bakery and just a walk through beautiful surrounds to... More

The homes are all built into the side of the cliffs, from our window we could look out onto the cliffs and the river. The room was very clean and the accommodation and owners wonderful. Reviews cannot describe the beauty of the area and the views from this wonderful place built into the cliffs. We will go back again. Thank... More

Caberets is a place where many homes are built into the side of the cliffs. This B&B offers great views. We stayed in the garden room. It was functional, super clean and comfortable. Simon was super helpful in helping us lay down an attack plan for viewing the area. Magali was very sweet to serve the guests. Stop at a... More

. . . even better than the first two. For us, after more than a dozen trips to France, there is no place warmer and more welcoming. Or more flavorful. Magali's cooking again -- superb. The wine, too, was very good -- a Cahors, very dark. Simon does everything, for his neighbors as well as his guests, apparently. Sun coming... More

This accommadation does not hold itself out to be 5* accommodation - it is priced very reasonably it is a bit rustic (as we like it) , parking a a bit of a way away as this is an ancient complex (predating motar cars by over 100yrs) , there are a number of stairways with lots of character (this is... A friend and I spent two nights here and found the location to be great. The room was beautiful and showed the effort the owners put into the construction and decorating. Unfortunately, due to communication errors, the room was set up as one double bed when we were actually needing two single beds. This required the owners coming to redo... More

We stayed in the large and comfortable garden room for 2 nights in June and enjoyed every minute. Highlights of our stay were visits to Pech Merle, the Cahors market and cathedral, Lot valley wineries, and St. Cirque Lapopie, and definitely the table d'hotes! Highly recommend Un Jardin if you want to be a little off the tourist track.

We stayed only one night on our way from Paris to Toulouse. This was a great place to stay, the onle downside is we made it out there at night.. therefore, the drive was a little scary.. it's a good hour drive from the expressway... you see a lot of animals at night. Try to make it before sunset and... More

We stayed for three days our first week in France and for four the next, all in the Garden Room, and found our visit to Cabrerets all we’d hope it would be. The setting is unusual and dramatic, the rooms lovely, comfortable and beautifully kept, the breakfasts plentiful and delicious, the table d’hote at once homey, relaxed and generous –... More

We chose this B&B primarily to be close to Pech Merle, and it is very close-by. The location is beautiful, under a rock overhang along the river. Dinner at the B&B, as others have noted is excellent. I was very happy it was offered as it was raining, and there did not seem to be any other obvious places to... More
