Everything about this hotel is wonderful, it cannot be recommended too highly. Great location 30 minutes outside Salzburg. Very quiet nothing else around. Superb food, health and swimming facilities. Rooms ok, but a little bit disappointing. Gmachl offers comfortable accommodation near Salzburg, convenient for those travelling by car, but wanting to avoid inner city traffic in Salzburg. Transport to Salzburg on the local bus service was easy, but be aware that you are in the middle of nowhere (which did not bother us). Stayed in this hotel to visit Salzburg with a car. Pretty small villages surrounding the area. Hotel was clean, staff friendly. Rooms were spacious. Food from restaurant delicious.
