“Perfectly OK for an overnight stop”

I had lunch, dinner and breakfast at the hotel and all were very nice. The room was clean and tidy but basic, then again this hotel didn't charge a high room rate. I wouldn't use it for a holdiay venue but as a place to stay 'in transit' or for a meeting it was fine

Driving from the Loire Valley to Metz and made stop here. Dubious about 3* side of road Hotel but it was excellent with hardly any traffic noise , large rooms. comfy beds and the restaurant was of an excellent standard. We chose this hotel because it appeared in 2007 Gault Millau and combined a hotel with restaurant on our travel route. In spite of being in a busy section of the town, the room was quiet and adequate. Our dinner provided new experiences. I enjoyed a scallop pizza and my husband a fine grilled fish with frog's legs. Stayed one night when travelling through France, thought that a 3 star hotel should be satisfactory. Our room overlooked a busy roundabout and the air conditioning was not working.
