We split our trip between Valencia &chulilla. Chulila is encased by a stunning lime stone gorge and Casa Serena is lovelly hillside home which pete & Richard made us feel welcome. If you have children who like walking they will love exploring. This is an amazing place.
As recommended we ate at El Pozo which also has a hostel. Wonderful Hostes great food. We are already planning to return. As we wer'nt driving we travelled by train to liria where as part of our stay Pete picked us up .The Metro costs a pittance & added to our experiance. Casa Serena is a great place to feel at home & explore the Valancian region.

We´ve just got back from staying in a lovely village B&B in a pretty place called Chulilla outside Valencia and thought it was well worth sharing with others our lovely experience.

The B&B itself is nessled within a stunning small medieval whitewashed village. We initially wanted somewhere we could escape from noisy London and have a long weekend of walking and cycling in the Valencian countryside. And somewhere that also offered a good selection of restuarants. My boyfriend is a keen rock climber and this was another reason why we chose this location. Its got some impressive canyon walls to climb and stunning views to the lakes.
On arrival we were greeted by a warm welcome and made to feel at home by the owners Richard & Peter. They were helpful with tips to which restaurants were the nicest and gave us leaflets on the surrounding areas.
