Stayed with family couple of days ago. (2nd visit to Paix). Lovely rooms & terrace at back overlooking beer garden.. Cafe/hotel on corner of revamped Markt. . Just lovely accomadation & excellent cafe for Belgium beeer & superb food. NOT TO BE MISSED IF IN AREA. Noels beer warehouse 15min drive away for over 250 belgium bers plus foodstuffs.

Stayed there last year with 3 friends while visiting Westvleteren Monastery. Great location overlooking the square, Modern clean and spacious rooms with nice touches like a Bose audio system and ipod dock. The managers of the hotel were very helpful. Plus it doesn't hurt having a fantastic bar attached. Would stay there again.
