We stayed in one of the refurbished rooms in April 2009. The room itself was neat and clean but i thought it was significantly overpriced at £180 per night. The breakfast looked good, but since we got down to breakfast 30 mins before it was finishing, the staff never replenished any of the breakfast items (ie no bread, orange juice).... more

Saw this place in glossy magazine quite a while back and finally got round to paying it a visit last weekend. This is the place to go to get away from it all! Thank you to the team at the Ye Olde Bell. I was very keen to book one of the beautiful designer rooms it was not a disappointment. Visited the restaurant on a Wednesday night with my elderly and disabled parents. They were kept witing to be seated for a full 5 minutes which was not the best start! Waiting staff showed little friendliness and didn't want to be there but the clearest impression was that no one was in charge or taking any interest in goings on.... more

Staying at this hotel is really an experience The hotel is located in an old building. There is a wonderful restaurant downstairs and a cozy bar with a fireplace and all.
