We have just returned from 3 nights at the Churston Court hotel and would definitely recommend it. Im glad we listened to the majority view on Tripadvisor. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the honeymoon suite, and had a four poster bed and a claw foot bath. The breakfasts and bar food was lovely, we didnt eat in... More

We stayed recently at this hotel for a night to visit a relative in Brixham. We usually stayed at a guest house around the harbour, but now with child opted for an easier option regarding parking and steps. The look of the hotel from the outside is charming, and inside, with dark walls and loads of dark wood, it is... More

The decor in this inn is fantastic, really stepping back in time and love all the different rooms/nooks. we went for a meal and found the food good, maybe not the best, but good, but it is the decor/charm of the place that makes it

My wife booked this hotel for a 3 day break having looked for a couple of days at many hotels in the area. This one caught her eye as it looked nice and to have lots of charm. On arrival the staff were very helpful and after the normal registration we were escorted to our room. The room we were... More

I was taken to this hotel for the Easter weekend as a surprise relaxing break by my partner and overall I was fairly impressed with my partners choice. He opted to book a superior room as well which had a four post bed and roll top bath. The bathroom was very luxery and clean but if wanted a shower then... More

Stayed here on Good Friday for the Murder Mystery evening. The murder mystery evening was fantastic. Food for the event was ok, although puddings were a bit poor. Room was fantastic, huge four poster. Very comfortable and warm. Bathroom was gorgeous, shower and rolltop bath. Had to put the kettle on the floor to boil it which was a bit... More

Good location and comfortable inside and out. The roast is a bit on the expensive side but the club sandwich is superb. A dog friendly pub too. Well done

Stayed here over Easter and it was amazing, amazing location in the English countryside, old church and grave yrd next door, amazing decor, lots of mirrors and shining armour everywhere, the staff were so helpful, nothing was to much to ask, anything you wanted they would do there best to do, and the food was just amazing, slightly expensive but... Beautiful building set in lovely countryside and not too far from the beach either. The hotel has a very old fashioned feel about it with classic paintings, suits of armour and a huge roaring open fireplace. A bit like an old stately home. We stayed in the King George room which had a fab four poster bed and a huge... More
