Couldn't find the place for over an hour, we kept telephoning the house but no answer. Asked 6 villagers who had never heard of it. A really special break, in a truly special environment. The owners could not have been more helpful and the bedrooms, bahrooms etc were excellent - down to the lovely flannels with pretty cotton borders. Excellent breakfast, and beautiful table with wedgewood china, glasses and silver sauce holders. Loved the Aga toast and pancakes. Will recommend to all. more

A beautful house in stunning grounds. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Beautiful top quality bathroom fittings, and lovely antique furnishings in our good sized bedroom and thoughout the house. We enjoyed the homemade honey and sunflower bread, also the homemade muesli and preseves. We were recommended by friends and will certainly return., hopefully at Christmas. more
