Been to other carverys but always find them not as good as Wellington Park and always more expensive. Staff might be slow but they make it up with there pleasant outlook .The only place better is Evenwood Farm at Runcorn.

Sunday Lunch for 16 people is not easy to cater for but from start to finish Wellington Park provided both excellent service and fantastic food.

Upon arrival we were greeted (if that is the word) by a snotty woman who informed us she was a manageress. We were checked in and told our room was down the corridor, she didn't even bother to show us to our room! great customer service! Despite our welcome we kept an open mind and went downstairs to dine in... More

Just been along to Bentley's for the carvery lunch with my wife and mother. Contrary to other reviews, the turkey and ham were moist and delicious, vegetables fresh and nicely cooked and the serving staff were friendly and helpful. Starters included fresh melon with fruit, and garlic mushrooms in a tasty sauce. The meal was very reasonably priced and represented... More

Chefs serving aunt bessy's frozen roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings ??- pathetic - tasteless frozen food - I would not serve this at home - you expect better from a place like this!!. Dessert was no better ....microwave apple pie (so that the pastry is soggy and raw), another person in our party ordered trifle - the cream on top... More

We thought we would go out with the family for our evening meal. Wellington park is local and seemed like a good choice. We arrived at 'la scala' one of the restaurants at 17.40 and had a drink in the bar. There was another family of five there waiting as well. After sitting for 10 mins the waitress came and... More
