We stayed at this hotel Friday 2 October to Sunday 4 October and all we can say is the service is exceptionally poor! No one at Reception on arrival so we carried our bags thru to the bar area to pick the key up as advised by an A4 sheet of paper on the reception desk only to be told... more
The worst hotel I’ve visited since the 1970s. We arrived on a Saturday night at this 34-room hotel to find just 2 members of staff on duty – a receptionist/bar tender/waitress and a cook. In a beautiful setting just along the road from Whatton Prison, large car park, lovely grounds, helpful staff. Thats the good bits. Disgusting toilets in bar area,( have a look behind the cabinet) fire alarm board disconnected, wardrobe in my room close to collapse, had to prop it up with a shelf, no aerial lead for TV, shower curtain too... more
