We have never felt so lucky - having initially planned to stay elsewhere, we found out that Stablegrove had just had a cancellation and because its position was close to where we wanted to be, we jumped at the chance to stay there. Everything is perfect about this place. From the entrance right up to the front door it is... More

What a place! We had booked in for what turned out to be a rainy spring weekend and could not have wished for a better place - coming home to a roaring fire in the evening, board games, billiard, self-serve bar, lovely room (we stayed in the loft), outstanding breakfast, outstanding hospitality. Highly recommended!

I arrived at Stablegrove tired after a long drive from Hampshire on a very dark night. Claire ushered me in, took my bags and sat me in front of the fire and made me a pot of tea! She also brought brownies (yum!) My room was fantastic with a comfy bed, lots of supplies and a heater because it was... More

We stayed at Stablegrove for two nights as my daughter was getting married at Coombe Lodge which is 5 miles away. The wedding day was perfect (sunny and warm on October 29th was a bonus!) and our stay with Claire and Malcom was outstanding. Claire could not have been more helpful - She put me in touch with an amazing... More

My husband booked this B&B for my birthday, as he knows I rather like llamas! The B&B itself is lovely, really nicely decorated, and lots of space. We really liked our room which was The Loft and had a view of the llama field. It was lovely to have a guest lounge and games room and means you don't have... More

My Mother and Father had booked Stablegrove the night before my wedding (8th aug,2012), it was the most unforgettable evening with thanks to Clair and Malcolm. We were greeted with a warm and friendly welcome, had bellini's on the lawn, followed by a fabulous ploughmens dinner. The food, service and facilities were exceptional, Clair and Malcolm ensured everything was perfect. The... More

My wife and I recentrly stayed at Stablegrove. Unfortunately we could only stay for two days. We were welcomed with tea on the lawn. The bed room was large and airy, the shower fantastic, the bed very comfortable and tea making facilitites great. Breakfast was fantastic and set me up for the day. Which was very fortunate as we were... More

My daughter, grand-daughter and I stayed at Stablegrove last week and were indulged with warm hospitality, very comfortable rooms, a luxurious bathroom (complete with fluffy white bath robes!) and a beautifully cooked breakfast. There were added nice touches such as the welcome tray with fresh tea and coffee and brownies, and in the bathroom lots of nice toiletries, as well... More

Our prospective daughter-in-law booked Stable Grove to accommodate the bridal party for her wedding to our son, so 10 of us had the place to ourselves. It is an outstanding B&B, both for the facilities and in particular for the warmth of the welcome from Clare and Malcolm. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and I was not expecting the space...
