You get good beer from most of the pubs in the area due to the proximity of the Adnams brewery, but it is particularly well kept at The Dolphin. In addition, the food is top notch and the garden delightful. We'll definitely be back again soon!!!

Spent a couple of nights here recently for a wedding happening nearby. Staff were welcoming and friendly, the Inn itself is clean and well appointed, the rooms were lovely, light and airy and the food was excellent. Overall a very very pleasant stay in a lovely little Inn.
We'd been to The Dolphin four years ago and my husband wanted to go back for his birthday. It was just as good as we remembered. We stayed for four nights. Staff were excellent - nothing was too much trouble. Food superb so we overate at dinner, but was able to order a simple croissant in the morning instead of...

We stayed B&B at the Dolphin Inn over the Easter holiday and could not fault it. The landlord, David was welcoming and the room was very pleasant - warm, clean, a good size and had all the expected facilities. It is well located to access the Meare, the Golf Club and the beach. The cooked breakfasts were of excellent quality...

From start to finish we enjoyed our time at the Dolphin Inn, excellent service, accommodation and food. Will be sure to return.
We stayed here by complete chance. I needed somewhere to stay that night and did a quick google search in the general area for B&B's or hotels. Many places came up but most were full or seemed too pricey - we just needed a place to crash for one night. I contacted the Dolphin Inn and they had a room...

We booked at the last minute as we fancied an extra night in Suffolk (we had a voucher to stay elsewhere the following night). Delighted with our decision as it was extremely warm and welcoming from start to finish. We had an excellent dinner and our room (3) was large and comfortable. Just one problem-the loo was reluctant to flush!-...

We were staying elsewhere in Thorpeness for the weekend and chose to eat at The Dolphin on Saturday evening. The Inn is a very pleasant and comfortable venue similar in many ways to several others along the coast here that cater to the corduroy and Boden clad professional middle class weekenders who flock to Aldeburgh, Thorpeness, Walberswick and Southwold throughout...
