I just had the pleasure of spending 4 days with Marie and family at Sli Dala in Roscrea. My room was very spacious, clean, warm & cozy, the whole facility was very welcoming. The scones and Irish breakfast were excellent! I was in Roscrea seeking my family history, I hoped to get a picture of my Grandmother's family home, church... More

I was staying at Maries ( and her husbands) place for two days, together with my son and niece. It was perfect for us. Marie spend a whole day with us, driving us to some wonderful places at the west coast. Recommended!

Stayed at Sli Dala Saturday 15/09/12. Very easy to get too,Off Street parking with beautiful well manicured garden,Greeted by the owner Marie a beautiful friendly ladie, who made us tea/coffee and fresh scones on arrival. The Rooms were well decorated and spotlessly clean. The Twin Room we stayed in had a double bed and a single bed.It had a large television... More

We stayed here for one night and i can say that this B&B is worth to visit. Extremely nice host, the room was really cozy, we could rest a lot. I recommend it! The neigbourhood is really quiet, and calm.

Marie was the best host we've ever had at a B&B. Nothing was too much trouble for her, room & food excellent. Hospitality was superb. Will definately stay there on our next visit to Roscrea, hopefully next year as I met with quite a few second cousins (thanks to Marie's knowledge) and would like to see them for longer, as... More

What a wonderful host we had in the owner, Marie. We stayed at this B & B after enduring a horrific beginning to our Ireland holiday of being robbed of all our luggage in Dublin. Due to the theft we were cutting our trip to Ireland short but wanted to see Rosscrea and Leap castle before exiting. So we headed... More

This was our 3rd time staying here,it's clean and as others have stated Marie treats you like a family friend and no one gets away from breakfast feeling hungry . Marie loves nothing better than baking apple pies and scones just simply to spoil you on your arrival and during your stay . We had a family wedding on this... More

This was my family's favorite B&B. Marie treats you like a family friend, not like a paying guest. Other B&B's were nice but Marie welcomes you and makes you feel welcome. Tea is always available and wonderful scones! Breakfast was wonderful. The B&B is clean and homey feeling. I'm still kind of jet lagged and this review may seem rambling... More

If you are ever in Ireland, you must stay here! Not only is Roscrea a fantastic little town to explore with plenty of history, but the welcome I received was one of the warmest in the two weeks I spent driving around Ireland. Tea, cake and some great craci was what I experience upon arrival. My room was clean, comfortable... More

Marie was great! Warm welcome, tea and scones. She even helped us get in touch with family we were trying to track down for our heritage seeking trip. After our stay, she had wonderful tips on places to go and how to get there. You can't go wrong with Marie or Sli Dala
