Officious staff who are untrained and unenthusiastic. Showers ad TVs that are useless. No Internet. Food that you'd throw out had you made it yourself. Coffee that is undrinkable. Overpriced. Why this place has 5 stars baffles me as does the restaurants 1 Michelin star.

Had this been a reasonably priced 3* hotel, I would have probably given it a 4 or 5. The hotel enjoys a beautiful view of Mont-Blanc and is located a very quiet area surrounded by trees. The rooms and the linen are immaculate, the service very attentive. The restaurant La Cassolette offers dishes of high quality ingredients and preparation. Interesting wine list. Excellent breakfast and service.

...it is really a bit of a prison if you don't have your own transport. This is an excellent hotel. We usually do not make a hotel a must return, but this one makes the list. We go back every year sometimes twice. Very good food and attention to detail. We booked just one night for the 'Gourmet Escape' special offer. The hotel is beautifully located and beautifully appointed. However the public spaces, as is so often the case in Italian hotels, are rather stiff and formal and don't lend themselves to simply sitting back and relaxing. great bartender, kind helpful staff, amazing breakfast (best we ever had), great views, not too far from the slopes, super spa facilities, and a fabulous michelin star dining experience at completely reasonable prices, we would definitely go back

The location is above the valley, sunny, great view and quiet. It's a resort type hotel, high standard with a country design. Outside the hotel you need a car, there is no village in walking distance. Staff is friendly and does everything to your satisfaction. We asked to change the room, which was no problem.
