We stayed at Le Domino in May 2009.
The hotel is situated in the suburbs of Strasbourg. However, at a 5-minute walk from it there is a stop of the A tram that will take you to the very centre of the city in 10 minutes. The location is very peaceful and quiet, near the Rhone-Rhine canal.
I can't say that the room was very big, but it was clean and charming and had everything necessary. The bathroom was very clean as well, and we had fresh towels every day. However, I have to admit that the walls of the building are rather thin, so neighbours can hear each other quite well, which poses some inconvenince.
Breakfast is not bad. Although there is no meat (like ham or sausage) and cereals, we found crispy French baguette and croissants delicious.
The personnel is very polite and helpful, it's a pleasure to communicate with them.
It also should be noted that the hotel has its own private parking place, which was very convenient for us as we came from Switzerland by car...
