This site is in a most beautiful forest (a bit smaller now due to some windy storms over the past years in winter) directly on a lake. You are basically surrounded by lush green forest. The minute you arive it feels sooooo relaxing. If you have children they will love the many parks to play in and the freedom of... More

I booked two excellence mobiles through Siblu last year and we were very disappointed. The mobiles were at opposite ends of the campsite, I know they say they cannot guarantee location but we couldn't have been further apart! The mobiles which were supposed to be of equal standard were completely different with one being of much inferior quality. Their was... More

Having been on numerous "camping" holidays with my family I found this site disappointing. There was nothing truly bad about it - I did enjoy myself. However, there were no trees so no escape from the sun. There was no privacy between the mobile homes. The roads were dust and stone (constantly had stones in my flip-flops). Unfortunately the area... More

Our holiday (wife and 3 kids, 14, 3 and 3 months) was spread over 27 August - 6 September, primarily for reasons of cost and the school term starting, however, once into September the camp starts to wind down for the season and so some activities stop and the evening entertainment becomes sporadic dependant on numbers and the weather which... Recently stayed at La Reserve near Gastes during August and have mixed reviews about this site. Weather was mixed, as would be expected being situation in close proximity to the Atlantic cost, but enjoyed some nice very warm weather. The location is great, set in the huge Les Landes forest, which is a great region for exploring on bike, as... More

Having had many trips to France and used Haven/Siblu as well as Eurocamp over the past 25 years we would d class ourselves as very experienced travellers for this type of holiday. If you do no have a Sat Nav the signage into the site is very poor. If travelling from the channel ports/tunnel it is a 67Euro (per car)... More

After a very long car journey from Roscoff (11 hours) we arrived at la Reserve, first impressions were very good, lovely location and the site appeared very welcoming. We found our privately owned moile home at plot 223 and were very dissapointed at the overall extrenal appearance compared to our neighbours who were all housed in clean, well cared for... More

Had a flight into Bordeaux and drove down. Took 1hr 15 mins. I have two young children and they used to love the sites. This is my 4th visit to a Siblu site over the last 5 years, and unfortunately this will be my last. The site is isolated from anywhere else, so unless you like travelling, you are stuck... More

We arrived on the Saturday after splitting our journey from Calais. Some people do drive non-stop but as it takes over 9 hours and with 2 girls aged 9 & 6 we thought it best to stop half way. We camped with another family and the rest of our group stayed in mobile homes. Site bigger than the other Siblu... More
