While the building looked nice this hotel was easily the worst experience on our 2 week trip through France. Service was below average to non existent, rooms very basic & hot and the quality of food was extremely bad. The only positive thing about our stay was the fact that this was only a 1 night stopover along the way.

The facade looks ok. Our rooms were located at the rear of the property, massive rooms but in need of refurbishment, especially the bathroom which strongly smelt of damp. Although the building is very impressive, the interior of the hotel gives you a sense of abandonment. It's worth to mention that we had to wait at least 10 minutes for someone to turn up on the reception desk in order to check in. The room was very big but in serious need of refurbishment. Bathroom not too clean.
