We just spent 3 days in a junior suite at La Bonne Etape. It is a 4 star hotel by government standards. The room was spacious with lovely antique furniture covered with the same cloth as the drapes. We really liked La Bonne Etape, the hotel. It has an old-fashioned charm - comfortable rooms filled with antique furniture and books to read, a pretty garden and good-looking swimming pool. We happened across La Bonne Etape by chance on our way down to the south. It was 7pm so they let us have a room for less than half the usual price. The hotel is lovely - very traditional, lots of heavy furniture and drapes, the bathroom and bedroom were similarly luxurious. The garden and swimming pool are very prettty... More

The charming house has averything you need and much more. Lovely rooms, a pool area that lets you get he rest you need after so much driving and a restaurant many large city doesn't have. The best however are the utterly charming and helpful staff. Their attentivenes is unparalleled and they actually seem to lova what they do.

A very special hotel with 2 restaurants. It's a "classic" with antique type furniture and paintings. The staff is very helpful and very nice! They speak many languages and are eager to print maps and itineraries for you at the front desk. The rooms, however are dated and the "antiques" bit worn.
