This is a hotel from a budget chain, a bit like Premiere Classe. For 35E we got a small, clean room with a double bed, ensuite, TV, Wi-Fi and aircon. We left before breakfast, but we could have had a continental breakfast for about 6E. There was a locked parking area, free, for cars. Hot drinks and snacks could be obtained from a vending machine, which is useful.
Okay, this type of hotel is soulless, boring and maybe doesn't belong on this kind of travel site. The towels are quite small and you don't get soap bars (though there is a soap dispenser in the shower). But when you are on a shoestring, or when you are heading home or travelling to reach your destination, and all you want is a clean pillow on which to lay your weary head, then this is a very good budget hotel.
Looking at the shiny new cars in the car park, the French certainly don't despise it!
