Don't get me wrong, I love the Vendee, from St John to St Gilles, beaches, scenery, BUT, DO NOT CAMP. Stayed here with my family and best friend back in 2004. The site itself is quite large and there is quite a lot to do, and I liked the shade of the pine trees. Pool complex was basic though, but I had many good memories there. Worth a look.
